Job summary:

You will coordinate the implementation of all daily activities so that all programs and operations have the necessary goods and services when they need them to support the delivery of quality programs to poor and vulnerable people. Your knowledge and experience will allow you to coordinate the needs and difficulties concerning food and logistics and to implement solutions, while applying the principles of virtuous management, integrity, transparency and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:

•Archive all supporting documents used to record properties in a manner that facilitates review and verification.
•Assign a unique identification number/tag to properties at the time of acquisition. Identification numbers must maintain their chronological order and must be consistently applied in the main office and in subsidiary offices.
•Ensure that identification numbers attached to properties are legible at all times and replace old and faded ones.
•Keep a permanent record of all organization properties. This includes properties in the main office, sub office warehouse, temporary offices (in case of emergency), satellite stores, etc.
• Identify properties that are damaged, inoperable and transferred to other organizations by loan, donation or other approved means. DSA!!!
• Track the transfer of properties between and among staff/departments and update the permanent register accordingly. PROPERTY RENTAL!!!
● Work in coordination with the supply chain team and relevant program employees in logistics services who meet the requirements of the sectors. Help identify difficulties in supply chain management and provide recommendations to respond to them.

Support the implementation of delivery operations from the arrival of goods in the country (or local point of purchase) to warehouses and final distribution centers, in accordance with CRS and donor regulations. funds and international and local standards and requirements for the supply chain.
●Collaborate and communicate with the purchasing team to ensure they receive purchase requisitions on time with complete specifications, delivery schedules and other terms and conditions, including for labeling, marking and promotion .
● Provide coaching and regular support to the staff and workers of CRS and its partners to verify that they have the capacity to implement logistics processes precisely, consistently and transparently and to respect safety requirements, safety and health.
● Help coordinate and supervise activities related to the reception, transport, distribution and transfer of food. Liaise with shipping surveyors, C&F agents, transport manager, partners and other parties to ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods.
● Maintain records up to date with all necessary logistics documents and verify that all supply chain management activities and movement are documented completely and accurately. Prepare and/or review all reports prior to submission, depending on distribution requirements.

Training, experience and abilities required
Education and experience

● Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or other relevant diploma desired. One or more professional certifications in supply chain or an equivalent field are a plus.
● Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics or purchasing management, preferably in an international organization.
●Knowledge of political dynamics along the chain, infrastructure, the market as well as corresponding laws and regulations.
●Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with commodity tracking systems is a plus.
