Junior Analyst Role Description – Remote

Role:

  • Altamont Group is seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support our Executive and Consulting teams with the aim of articulating Altamont Group’s value to our internal and external clients
  • The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, and persistent who can identify, research, and analyse

Deliverables include:

  • Building best-in-class deliverables, including research reports, presentations, and articles
  • Prepare a variety of documents for internal and external audiences
  • Research market conditions specific to area of focus to determine opportunities
  • Develop list of focus areas
  • Support business development
    • Research RFP sources
    • Register Altamont Group as a preferred vendor
    • Monitor RFP sourcing sites
    • Ensure selected RFPs align with our unique value proposition
  • Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner
  • Support Project Implementation: develop project plans, coordinate meetings, develop documents, etc.
  • Handle day-to-day report generation, enabling the consulting and business development teams to produce results more quickly for key clients
  • Administrative support: preparing documents, presentations, research, emails and messages

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelors (required); Masters (preferred)
  • Excellent writing, organizational, communication and planning skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines efficiently
  • Strong critical thinking ability
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer skills, including MS Office, SharePoint
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills required, with attention to detail
  • Sound time management skills
  • Able to learn quickly and produce high quality work under tight deadlines
  • Experience in problem solving, analytical skills, and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible attitude toward receiving feedback
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)
