Here’s where you come in:
As Finance Reporting Specialistyou will be part of the Financial Reporting and Audit team, responsible for overseeing the global statutory audit and the consolidated financial statements of World Vision International. You will also ensure a robust internal control environment across the globe, working closely with Global Field Finance and other Finance teams in the Global Centre.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent.
- Accredited with CPA, Institute of Chartered Accountants or equivalent professional accounting body.
- Strong knowledge in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Strong knowledge in external audit and internal controls.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional private/corporate accounting work experience or three years in public accounting and external auditing.
- Work experience in external auditing in a public accounting firm is highly desired.
- Experience in building reporting and utilising data models in PowerBI or similar software to a proficient level.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; adept at influencing and coordinating cross-functional, multi-location teams and subject-matter experts.
- Learns new software applications and databases quickly—e.g., SunSystems, Provision, Workday, and similar tools.
