Solthis is a global health NGO, created 20 years ago, which acts for prevention and access to quality care for all, by sustainably strengthening health systems and services. We intervene on the challenges of the health of women, mothers and children, and on large pandemics, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis. Solthis is a development NGO, present in West Africa with 5 country offices and which, in partnership with local players, deploys projects including both operational research, capacity building, and advocacy aspects.

CHALLENGES
The ImpaCT4HIV project is piloting innovative models for taking care of disease in people living with HIV at the advanced stage through a simplified and decentralized approach in target countries. It emphasizes early screening, identification and decentralized management of adults, adolescents and children in primary structures and community channels. ImpaCT4HIV implements community approaches centered on humans and will introduce innovative tools aimed at improving the efficiency and efficiency of services.
The project, funded by Unitaid, will be managed by a consortium piloted by Aurum with DNDI, Pata, Maa and Solthis and implemented in South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique, DRC and Sierra Leone. It has been implemented since January 2024 for a period of 3.5 years. Solthis is in charge of deployment in Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone.
The Solthis team is made up of a coordinator of the program based in Abidjan and two implementation teams in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and Freetown (Sierra Leone).
In this context, we are looking for a coordinator/trice of the program covering all activities under the responsibility of Solthis in the two countries.
SPECIFIC MISSIONS
Placed under the supervision of the director. Director of Pays Solthis in Côte d’Ivoire, the coordinator.
In order to carry out his mission, the Coordinator of the ImpaCT4HIV program:
Is the main representative of the Impact4HIV project
- With the Lead du Consortium (Aurum), other consortium members and national, regional and international partners (including technical and financial partners).
- Is responsible for external reporting as well as communication with the Lead du Consortium.
- Guaranteed contractualization and its follow -up between Solthis and its implementation partners (research partners, local partners, ministries of health).
- Ensures coordination between the Solthis of the Headquarters, Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone teams, by organizing piloting meetings for the sharing of information and lessons learned from the project.
Is responsible for the overall strategic and operational management of the project
- Guarantor of monitoring the implementation of the project, including activities in countries.
- Ensures the achievement of the objectives according to the deadlines defined contractually with the lead of the consortium and the lessor.
- The quality of deliverables is responsible by the implementation of reliable mechanisms
- Is responsible for the budgetary management of the project and the coordination of the development of budgetary action plans on the scale of the project and the 2 countries
- Coordinates the development and implementation of the strategy of disseminating the results and lessons learned from the project and the transition and transition strategy to scale towards donors such as the PEPFAR and the Global Fund.
Supervise and manage the Coordination team ImpaCct4Hiv, Composed of two project coordinators in Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone
- Develops and participates in team dynamics, the implementation of a healthy work environment that respects Solthis values and in line with HR principles.
- Sets annual objectives and achieves individual regular points.
- Supports his N-1s in strengthening their skills in project management.

Profile sought
Initial training:
You hold a Bac +4/5 level diploma in a relevant field (social sciences, political science, development) or graduated from a business school or specialized bioforce type (…) Training in public health is a plus.
Experience :
You can imperatively justify a minimum experience of 6 years in project coordination/management in international solidarity. You have proven experience in team management, complex project management and external relationship.
Knowledge of Unitaid procedures and public health policies will be a real asset.
Qualities & Skills:
For this position, we are looking for a person:
- Capable of leading multidisciplinary teams by showing pedagogy and listening,
- Autonomous and flexible to adapt to various contexts and interlocutors
- Who knows how to show diplomacy but also persuasion to manage a multi country project team, in consortium
- Very rigorous and autonomous, with good priority management capacities and inherent pressure in the post
- The mastery of French and English is essential.

REMUNERATION
Salary : Depending on the experience on a similar position – between 2.225 and 2,536 euros gross monthly
+ 14% of the gross salary in retirement bonus
+ 4% of the gross salary as an unemployment bonus
+ 800 euros in housing allowance
+ 670 euros for diem
If family pack:
- 1,200 euros in housing allowance
- 267 euros in children’s allowance (s)
