Community Manager Torino
Assignment
The Community Manager will have the task of developing a territorial ecosystem dedicated to the promotion of the rights of childhood and adolescence, starting from the territories identified by the program “Here a neighborhood to grow“. The role provides for coordination with different areas of the organization to build MultistakeHolder alliances, facilitate social innovation and enable transformative interventions in the area, following the strategic and methodological lines of the organization.
Main activities/responsibility
Development of the territorial ecosystem:
- Promote the protection of the rights of childhood and adolescence, developing an inclusive and participated territorial ecosystem.
- Facilitate shared territorial governance, involving local institutions, communities and strategic partners in a process of shared change.
- Manage territorial meetings for monitoring, sharing data and the definition of interventions that respond to the emerging needs of the communities.
- Coordinate with the local public administrations for the creation of alliances and the co-programming of public policies, also collaborating in the management of funds and capacitation opportunities.
Design and implementation of actions:
- Collect, systematize and share inputs emerging from the territory to encourage co-design and local initiatives.
- Supervise the entire co-planning process of interventions, from the monitoring of territorial needs to the writing of the design proposals, to their implementation and evaluation.
- Provide support to local partners in the management of complex projects, ensuring timely resolution of any problems.
- Manage and coordinate the “GG8 – young leader for a sustainable future” project and facilitate the activities of the Permanent Committee of young people, promoting the active involvement of the new generations.
Sustainability and scalability:
- Facilitate the creation of agreements and conventions with strategic partners, in synergy with the structure of partnership Excellence, to encourage the sustainability of the interventions.
- Promote the data collection for the evaluation of the program ensuring continuous monitoring of the results.
- Contribute to the collection of content and communication materials, supporting the visibility of the organization at the local and national level.
- Represent the organization in events, seminars and conferences on issues related to social innovation, consolidating the presence of Save the Children in the area.
Coordination and communication:
- Facilitate internal communication, promoting a continuous dialogue between the different organizational functions to ensure a coordinated response to local needs.
Experiences and skills required
- In -depth knowledge of the context of Turin and Porta Palazzo – Aurora, with particular attention to social, environmental indicators and local dynamics.
- At least 5 years of experience in educational, social and transformative impact models.
- Consolidated experience in the writing and management of projects (PCM approach, RBM), including the management of complex budgets and reporting.
- Experience in the creation and management of territorial networks and in the facilitation of community participation processes.
- Knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
