Child Poverty Proposal Development & Coordinator (maternity replacement)
Position
Within the structure education and fight against poverty pertaining to the National-Eu Program Management of Save the Children, the educational and material poverty area contributes to achieving the strategic objective “reducing child, educational and material poverty”.
The reference area develops actions aimed at positioning the minor at the center of the organization’s interventions by working on the real protagonism of minors in their educational and growth project.
Specifically, the area is structured in two programmatic areas: Social – Educational and Individual Devisions, with a plurality of reference interventions.
The role has the purpose of supporting the programmatic area dedicated to non -formal and informal educational contexts, through the development of new design proposals and the facilitation of functional fittings internal to the reference area.
Main activities
- Develop new project proposals in synergy with the Program Manager and in coordination with the team of the reference area.
- Support the consolidation and synergy of the two programmatic areas of socio -educational and individual supports.
- Contribute to the management of private donors, guaranteeing the creation of Field Visits and/or content functional to the enhancement of the programs relating to the educational poverty area and relative communication actions, in synergy with the marketing and fundraising areas and Communications and campaigning of Save the Children.
- Contribute to the correct closure of the project “IncluCity 2“And contribute to the start of the project”IncluCity 3“, Ensuring the necessary connection with the school area and the structure of social innovation.
- Provide strategic support to the structure manager in the development processes of the area according to the new strategy, with particular reference to the implementation of the financing plan and the management of the light points program.
- Promote the connection with the other thematic areas in the educational field and, more generally, with the programs active in Italy, in order to promote territorial actions and synergistic projects.
- Ensure the coordination between the different areas of the education and fight to child poverty structure, with particular attention to the development of the thematic areas of the light points program, and with a specific focus on the elaboration of the programmatic plan of the Gallaratese light point.
- Contribute to the structuring and optimization of operating processes internal to the area of competence, orienting them to the organizational strengthening and the management sustainability of the activities.
- Support the construction of project activities and related reports belonging to the ongoing projects in synergy with the Program Manager and in coordination with the team of the reference area.
- Facilitate a functional connection between the team of the reference area and the structure manager, organizing periodic updating and comparison meetings.
- Participate- for the educational poverty area- to work tables, initiatives and training events with the aim of promoting collaborative and internal reorganization processes.
Studies, experiences and qualifications:
- Degree, preferably in humanistic, economic, legal disciplines, addressed to the socio -educational area
- Consolidated experience in the participation and management of calls (also at European level)
- Experience of at least 5 years in the management of complex projects/programs in Italy or abroad
- Experience in the development of design proposals for private donors
- Experience in guaranteeing the connection between working groups
- Experience in managing complex partnerships
- Work experience on issues relating to contrast to educational poverty
Studies and linguistic/computer science
- Excellent knowledge MS Office.
- Good knowledge of tools and online presentation and collaboration platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of the spoken and written English language (not less than the B2 level of the European common framework of reference for the knowledge of languages).

OTHER
- Willingness to move throughout the national territory for meetings with project partners and monitoring of design actions, institutional meetings and with partners.
