The International Bureau of Children’s Rights (the IBCR or the Bureau) has been acting for the rights of the child for 30 years in more than twenty countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. IBCR is committed to a world in which the rights of the child are a reality. Our mission is to strengthen justice and child protection systems and transform the place of children into our societies, to ensure the realization of children’s rights, especially those encountered the most obstacles to make them respect. These are in particular children at risk or victims of violence, children in contact with the justice system, children in a migration situation, children associated with armed groups, and more broadly children faced with situations or contexts conducive to non-compliance with their rights and in which they and they are still too little considered as citizens, holders of full rights.
The office is based in Montreal and operates in more than 15 countries on three continents, for over 25 years. Four of our offices are also installed as part of our activities in Burkina Faso, DRC, Senegal and Mali.
Description :
The International Bureau of Children’s Rights is looking for new partners for French-Spanish translation services. As part of our activity, we regularly translate documents from French to Spanish. These documents include:
- Institutional documents (policies, annual reports, etc.)
- Programmatic documents (operating methods, inventory, training kits, etc.)
- Brochures de communication
We organize this call for tenders in order to find partners with whom we can sign a work agreement for the next two years.
Duration of the contract: 2 ans
Selection criteria:
- Proven experience in translation of institutional and programmatic documents
- Excellent mastery of French and Spanish
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality translations
