Terms: 12-month Fixed Term Contract, Hybrid model (50% office attendance)

Location: Head Office, Camden Street, Dublin 2, Ireland

Salary: GB3 / €31,702 – €35,224

Requirements: You might be required to travel internationally to deliver trainings.

Role Purpose:

To manage and support Concern’s Digital Data Gathering (DDG) system while building and maintaining digital tools that enable accurate and efficient data collection and analysis across global programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Build data collection tools for use across Concern programmes.
  • Respond to country-specific tool requests via the DDG Survey Request system
  • Liaise with field teams on survey administration and use of data collection tools
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of collected data by conducting thorough quality checks and validation
  • Create data visualizations using Zoho analytics to support programme insights.
  • Collaborate with Concern’s HQ IT team to resolve technical issues
  • Apply appropriate anonymisation techniques to protect personal and sensitive information collected through digital data tools.
  • Continuously assess digital data processes and propose enhancements to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Contribute to quarterly updates and induction sessions related to the DDG system.
  • Undertake any other tasks as directed by the line manager.
  • Uphold and promote Concern’s values, including workplace equality, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding.
  • Participate and contribute as necessary towards Concern’s emergency response as and when required.

Role Holder Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT, data analytics, science or any other related courses.
  • Experience in JavaScript or another coding language.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a flexible and supportive manner.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in data analytics and use of data analysis software such Power BI, Zoho analytics or any other tool
  • Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of humanitarian and development programmes.
  • Proficiency in French is desirable
