How can you make a difference? Key functions / responsibilities
The RCF Assistant of Case Management provides specialized support in the management, monitoring and systematization of cases within the Family Contact Restoration Program (RCF) of the Venezuelan Red Cross (CRV). It is responsible for facilitating the correct use of case management tools, guaranteeing the quality of the data entered, and supporting the subsidiaries in the implementation of the program procedures.
It will be the manager (a) of:
- Main user, focal point and technical head in the use of the case management tool (Family Links ANSWERS).
- Monitor the case management flow in the system, verify the quality of the information loaded, in close communication with the focal points of RCF.
- Support in the training of personnel and volunteer of subsidiaries on the proper use of RCF tools and protection principles applicable to case management.
- Participate in technical and coordination meetings with the Regional or Global RFL Network, when required by the Protection Coordination.
- Collaborate in the systematization of data and elaboration of technical reports on the status of RCF cases nationwide.
- Facilitate communication between the CRV subsidiaries and members of the family ties network of the Red Cross movement, in coordination with the protection coordination.
- Provide inputs for the design and update of procedures, manuals or internal protocols of the RCF program.
- Support the logistics and technical planning of technical activities, workshops or capacities strengthening events in RCF.
- Responsible for the implementation of the Code of Conduct in RCF Data Protection, and technical reference in the field.
- Execute other tasks assigned by the protection or protection officer coordination within the framework of the RCF program.
Report
The RCF assistant of case management will report to the protection officer or the protection coordination, according to the structure and the current work plan.
Workplace
Caracas (headquarters of the Venezuelan Red Cross), with availability to travel nationwide.
To qualify as a builder of the Venezuelan humanitarian system you must meet the following requirements:
- University Degree in Social Sciences, Law, International Relations, Social Work, or related areas.
- Minimum experience of one (1) year in support of protection, migration, RCF or humanitarian assistance programs.
- Basic knowledge of digital tools for case management (Flanswers or similar) is desirable.
- Familiarity with principles of data protection and confidentiality in humanitarian contexts.
- Ability to provide technical support, facilitate formations and write basic technical reports.
- Good management of office tools and virtual work tools.
- Commitment to the fundamental principles of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent.
- Organization, communication and teamwork skills.
