BINAA is looking for a Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Coordinator based in Damascus /Syria.

Job Purpose
• Creating and keeping strong partnerships, developing a plan for partnerships and fundraising, increasing the visibility of Binaa Organization with donors and possible partners, and making sure the organization has sustainable funding.
Building and preserving strategic partnerships, mobilizing financial resources and diversifying its sources, and enhancing the presence of a constructive development institution for donors and potential partners, to ensure the sustainability of financing and achieve the goals of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Identifying and Evaluating Opportunities:
•Keeping up-to-date with the humanitarian and development funding context the organization works within, including potential donors and partners, and analyzing available funding opportunities while tracking relevant developments.
•Identifying partnership opportunities with various donors (UN agencies, international NGOs, the private sector) and other supporting entities.

- The continuous view of the context of human and development financing within which the institution operates, including donors and potential partners, analyzing available financing opportunities and tracking related developments.
- Determine the opportunities available to partnership with various donors (United Nations agencies, international NGOs, the private sector) and other supportive bodies.
2.Building Relationships and Communication:•Communicating with donors and potential partners, expanding the network of relationships to support the organization’s goals.
• Introducing Binaa for Development, its goals, strategic plans, and funding programs to partners and donors, and explaining potential areas for collaboration.
•Representing the organization in coordination platforms and meetings related to partnerships, and following up on the results of these engagements.
- Determine the opportunities available to partnership with various donors (United Nations agencies, international NGOs, the private sector) and other supportive bodies.
2: Building relationships and communication

Communicating with the donors and potential partners, and expanding the network of relations in a way that supports the goals of the institution

Definition of a constructive development institution, its goals, strategic plans and financing programs for partners and donors, and clarifying possible areas of cooperation

Representing the institution in coordination platforms and meetings related to partnerships, and following up the results of these posts
3.Proposal Preparation and Documentation:
•Following up on new calls for proposals (Call for Proposals, Expression of Interests, Concept Notes, etc.), and evaluating the organization’s eligibility to apply.
• Coordinating the submission process based on best practices to ensure the development of successful proposals that meet donor requirements and reflect program needs.
•Supporting the development of due diligence documents, assessing institutional capacities, and preparing related documents for proposal submissions.
3: Preparing proposals and documentation

Follow up on new ads for proposals applications (Call for Proposals, Expression of Interests, Concept Notes) and others, and evaluate the eligibility of the institution to apply for it.

Coordination of the application according to best practices to ensure successful proposals that meet the requirements of donors and reflect the needs of the programs

Support for the development of Diligence and evaluation of institutional capabilities and documents related to submission files
4.Internal Coordination and External Representation:•Acting as Binaa’s representative with external entities regarding resource mobilization and partnerships.
• Working closely with the Programs Department to identify funding gaps, prioritize organizational funding, and ensure alignment of proposals with program goals.
•Collaborating with the Communications and Media Department to create appropriate materials for donors and stakeholders, showcasing success stories and achievements.4: Internal coordination and external representation

Work as a representative to build with foreign authorities regarding resource filling and partnerships

Close cooperation with the programs department to determine the financing gaps, arrange the priorities of institutional financing, and ensure the consistency of proposals with the goals of the programs.

Working with the Communication and Media Department to prepare introductory and media materials suitable for donors and stakeholders, and highlighting success stories and achievements
5.Reporting and Follow-up:•Developing and preparing reports on partnerships, donor relations, and partnerships, and regularly updating them.
•Monitoring funded projects and ensuring adherence to donor financial and technical requirements.
•Documenting lessons learned and best practices in resource mobilization and partnership building, and contributing to improving existing processes5: Reports and follow -up

Monitor the implementation of the funded projects and ensure the commitment to the financial and technical requirements of the donors.

6.Other Responsibilities:• Supporting the direct manager in managing relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
•Performing any other related tasks as assigned in the future according to the strategic direction of the organization and department.

Qualifications (Educeation/Languages/Work Experience)-qualifications (study-work experience-languages)
A. Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, International Relations, or any related field.
• At least three years of experience in a position related to partnership management, resource mobilization, business development, or proposal preparation.
• Advanced skills in speaking and writing in English.
